The folks over at Turning Tricks Entertainment have hit the ground running in 2018 with
the announcement of Red Helen joining Deity’s Muse and Only Forever to their
management roster. Adding more fuel to their fire, comes the announcement that Cape Town instrumental progressive post rock quartet, OhGod has signed a bookings deal with the company. The deal will focus on securing tours for OhGod on a global scale.
“As big fans of the South African alternative rock and metal scene, we’ve always wanted our hard-working acts to excel on the international landscape. One of our big projects this year is to elevate our scene by giving some of our bands exposure on the international live stage. Having booked OhGod on many occasions in the past, it was a no-brainer to offer them an international bookings deal with Turning Tricks.” Wayne Boucher, talent buyer for Turning Tricks Entertainment explains.
OhGod has developed a rabid fan base in South Africa in the 4 short years they’ve been
together. They’ve won multiple South African Metal Music Awards, toured India, shared the stage with the likes of Protest The Hero, Monuments, Karnivool, Intervals and Memphis May Fire (to name a few). The band recently released their highly anticipated full length debut album, “The Great Silence” to much critical acclaim.
