On the 10th of August 2012 I was on the farm near Northam for Oppikoppi 2012 Sweet Thing. On this Friday morning +/- 70 avid Twitter users (including @BaasDeBeer, @bangersandnash, @BraaiBoy, @texxonfire, @Vicky_JKWICZ, @WeeRickyDee, @gevaaalikdotcom, @SchweppsRocka, @Liesldb and others) made their way to the @JoseCuervoSA deck on the hill overlooking the James Phillips stage at the festival.
It was a fun filled affair with shots Cuervo flowing (with moderation) like you could not believe. The margaritas and ginger ale cocktails were so tasty – the Neat & Chilli Cuervo shots that @rudi_cronje offered some of us were not so much though. We enjoyed some free food and we could charge our phones at the charging stations on the deck.
And to top it all, the Jose Cuervo Deck offered the best Oppikoppi 2012 Sweet Thing Aerial View. The hour we spent on the deck was simply amazing. A huge thanks to everyone that made the 2nd annual Oppikoppi Tweetup possible this year (especially the folks at Brandsrock and Jose Cuervo SA).
This is the photo I snapped of the Oppikoppi 2012 Sweet Thing Aerial View from the Jose Cuervo deck on the Friday at the festival. I remember tweeting out a similar pic on the morning that may have created some hostility amongst my Facebook friends and Twitter followers, I do apologize for that. This photo has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 20th of August 2012.
In case you missed out on the action on the Jose Cuervo Deck at Oppikoppi Sweet Thing this year, this is a video clip to show you how much fun the 2nd annual Oppikoppi Tweetup was. I’m definitely looking forward to another one next year!
Yesterday a photo featuring the Perseids Meteor Shower in Israel was the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant, feel free to check it out.
