Great news! Park Acoustics is happening again on the 1st of July 2018 at Fort Schanskop (which is located inside the Voortrekker Monument Nature Reserve in Pretoria) and it’s definitely going to be one for the books.
The legendary Freshlyground will be making their way onto the Park Acoustics stage again. The last time they performed was November in 2014, but unfortunately the show got cut short by rain two songs in. Supporting them is everyone’s favourite indie band Desmond & the Tutus, Shortstraw frontman Alastair’s new band Cockles, Zionruts Family, Matt Carstens and 5FM’s Nick Hamman. There’s also a great comedy line-up featuring the legendary Deep Fried Man, Melt Sieberhagen and Glen Biederman Pam.
Take note that no under 18’s will be allowed (except if they’re accompanied by their parents). No glass is permitted into the festival area, so please buy cans or decant your poison into plastic bottles.
Early bird tickets cost R135 and there after tickets will cost R150 on the official website. Tickets at the gate will set you back R175. Take note that parking costs R15 per car and is payable at the gate to the Voortrekker Monument Nature Reserve.
