This past Friday I made my way to Arcade Empire in Pretoria to watch Laurie Levine and Wrestlerish perform. It was a fun experience. During the course of the evening I bumped into @DapperTrapper, @msbunnypants (who was having her b-day party), @EdwinMoses84, @wrestlerish, @almarieviraltyd, @vanessastrydom and others. Laurie Levine was up first.
For those of you who did not know, Laurie Levine`s new album “Six Winters” has been receiving rewarding reviews since its release in August this year. Dan Roberts (the producer who had worked with Laurie on her previous album as well) found a balance between a contemporary sound and Laurie`s love of folk music.
The very chilled-out vibe which was the result of Laurie’s set on Friday at Arcade Empire was the perfect way to usher in the weekend. She was definitely the perfect act to open for Wrestlerish (in my humble opinion).

If you live in Pretoria, love live music, cheap alcohol and good food I suggest that you make your way to Arcade Empire. It’s definitely the best venue in Pretoria for live music (in my humble opinion).
