Here 10 Series You Can Stream on Showmax in November 2024
1. Dune: Prophecy – Streaming from 18 November 2024 at 21:00 on Showmax & M-Net
From Frank Herbert’s expansive Dune universe, Dune: Prophecy is set 10,000 years before the rise of Paul Atreides, following two Harkonnen sisters as they face forces threatening the future of humankind and establish the fabled sect known as the Bene Gesserit.
Inspired by the 2012 novel Sisterhood of Dune by Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson, the prequel series stars Oscar nominee Emily Watson (Chernobyl), award-winner Olivia Williams (The Crown), and Critics Choice Super Award nominee Travis Fimmel (Vikings).

2. Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist – Streaming on Showmax from 13 November 2024
Based on the acclaimed true-crime podcast, Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist stars Emmy nominee Kevin Hart as Chicken Man, a hustler throwing a glamorous afterparty for Muhammad Ali’s 1970 comeback fight, attracting the wealthiest attendees.
When the night ends in a brazen underworld heist, Chicken Man becomes a prime suspect in the eyes of his adversary, Detective JD Hudson (Oscar nominee Don Cheadle), one of Atlanta’s first Black detectives.

Following The Batman, The Penguin sees Oz Cobb, aka the Penguin, attempt to take over Gotham’s crime world. Directed by Emmy nominee Craig Zobel (Mare of Easttown), The Penguin stars an unrecognizable Colin Farrell as the Penguin, alongside Critics Choice Super Award winner Cristin Milioti (Palm Springs, Fargo) as Sofia Falcone.

4. Hysteria! – Available to binge on Showmax from 1 November 2024
Set during the “Satanic Panic” of the late 1980s, Hysteria! follows a struggling high school heavy metal band as they exploit the town’s occult fears to build a reputation as a Satanic band, leading to a string of murders, kidnappings, and supernatural events.
Starring Emjay Anthony, Kezii Curtis, Critics Choice nominee Chiara Aurelia (Cruel Summer), horror legend Bruce Campbell, and Emmy winner Julie Bowen (Modern Family), Hysteria! has an 86% critics’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with AV Club calling it “a devil of a good time.”
5. The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3 – Streaming on Showmax from 22 November 2024
The Sex Lives of College Girls returns to Essex College for sophomore year, with major changes for Bela, Kimberly, Leighton, and Whitney.
