Shadowcats is happening at Craft Exchange in Pretoria East on the 1st of March 2019. If you’re a fan of rock ‘n roll, you should circle this date on your calendar because it’s going to be epic.
In case you did not know, Craft Exchange is located in Graaff Reinet Street in Faerie Glen (next to Thirst @ 28 Degrees). This tiny venue has established itself as one of coolest live music venues in the capital city over the last few years.
No time for BS, here’s the Shadowcats line-up!
Shadowclub: These Johannesburg rockers have been around for more than a decade. They burst onto the scene in the early 2010s and have played at every major music festival in the country.
To date, Shadowclub have released no less than 3 studio albums. Their latest studio album, Big Green Mamba Dream was released in late 2018.
The Black Cat Bones: This kick-ass Gauteng rock ‘n roll band needs no introduction. If you’ve been to a music festival in the last 10 years, you’ve probably seen them live because they’ve played all of them, at least once.
To date, The Black Cat Bones have released 4 studio albums. Their latest album, Here Is A Knife, was released in late 2018. It was definitely one of the best rock albums of the year.
Hellcats: This garage rock duo (who hail from Johannesburg) have been making waves in the SA Music Scene over the last few years.
Like the the other 2 bands, Hellcats have stunned audiences at all the major music festivals in South Africa. In 2018 they opened for Seether and Incubus. To date they’ve released 4 EPs and their full album should be coming our way in 2019.
Entrance to the Shadowcats show will set you back R100 on the 1st of March 2019. No Under 18’s are allowed. Leave your drugs, weapons and bad vibes at home and pull in for a rocking evening. For more information, check out the Facebook Event.
