The Big Bang Theory: The Main Cast as Kids (Photo)

The Big Bang Theory is one of my favorite shows on television. The show has been on air since 2007 and has been nominated for and has won multiple Emmy Awards. To date 124 episodes has been broadcast on television. The Big Bang Theory has aired on television in over 35 countries globally.

The cast of The Big Bang Theory are all adults now, but like all of you reading this, they were all kids once. All of them have been in the acting world for quite some time.

Johnny Galecki (Leonard Hofstadter) started his acting career in 1987, when he appeared in TV movie entitled Murder Ordained. Besides The Big Bang Theory, he’s also appeared in episodes of Hardball, Blossom, Roseanne, The Norm Show and other TV shows. He’s also appeared in films like Prancer, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Bean, Suicide Kings, Vanilla Sky and In Time. He may look a bit younger, but he’s actually 37 years old.

Jim Parsons (Sheldon Cooper) is no spring chicken either. He’s turning 40 this year. He’s been an actor since 1994. He started his career acting in plays. In 2003 he made his film debut in Happy End. He made his TV debut in 2002 when he appeared in an episode of Ed. He’s also lent his voice talents to shows like Eureka and Family Guy.

Kaley Cuoco (Penny) has been an actress since 1992. She made her film debut in the same year when she appeared in a made for TV film called Quicksand: No Escape. She made her TV acting debut when she appeared in an episode of My So-called Life in 1994. Since then she’s appeared in episodes of Northern Exposure, Ellen, 7th Heaven, 8 Simple Rules, CSI, Charmed and Prison Break. She’s also appeared in films like Virtuosity, Picture Perfect, The Hollow, Lucky 13, Cougar Club, The Last Ride and others. Kaley is turning 28 this year.

Simon Helberg (Howard Wolowitz) is 32 years old and has been an actor since 1999. His first film was Mumford (in which he appeared as a College Roommate). He starred in episodes of Popular, Cursed, Son of Beach and Undeclared in 2001. Since then he’s appeared in episodes of Reno 911!, Joey and various other TV shows. He also appeared in films like Van Wilder, Old School, A Cinderella Story, Evan Almighty and others.

Melissa Rauch (Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz) is also 32 years old and has been an actress since 2006. Besides appearing on The Big Bang Theory, she’s also appeared in episodes of True Blood and The Office. She has also appeared in a few movies in her very short career.

You may remember Mayim Ballik (Amy Farrah Fowler) from the 1990’s TV Sitcom Blossom. She’s 37 years old and made her acting debut in 1987 when she appeared in an episode of Beauty and The Beast. She has appeared in numerous films, include Beaches, Pumpkinhead and others. She also appeared in episodes of Webster,  MacGyver, The John Larroquette Show,  7th Heaven, Curb Your Enthusiasm and other TV shows.
