Yesterday I made my way to Aandklas Hatfield after work. This week has been a rough one so far, so I decided to unwind a little. The night turned out to be an epic one. One of our friends from Potchefstroom was in town, another friend was back in South Africa after spending most of this year in Dubai and another friend (who works as an air-hostess) joined us later in the evening. The night turned out to be one for the books (even though we only finished in second place in the quiz). Kudos to my good friends Larissa, Clarissa, Liana, Evelien, Xander, Wei and the other Aandklas regulars for making this a memorable night.
Before we got into this mayhem Menzi, Kobus, Ruan and I recorded another edition of the Whistle Podcast. I have to say that this was one of the more fun ones that we’ve recorded in recent times. We covered a wide range of topics including upcoming gigs from Karen Zoid, this Sunday’s Park Acoustics, Synergy Live and relationships (to name just a few). Before you decide to press play on this podcast, do take note that it’s not our intention to offend anyone.
Well, there you have it. Hope we did not offend anyone. Kudos to everyone who joined me for the 20th episode of The Whistle. I hope that you guys and girl enjoyed this as much as we did. Feel free to comment here if you have any suggestions or thoughts. Feedback is appreciated and welcome.
