Get yourself ready for Tribute To Women 2026! Yes folks, the Malibongwe Arts Festival, in association with MGE, Sheer Entertainment and Breakout Events, invites audiences to attend the event on Saturday, 29 August at Mark’s Park in Emmarentia (in Johannesburg).
Every August, South Africans pause to honour the women who have shaped families, communities and the nation itself and this year is no exception.

A Milestone 70th Anniversary of the Women’s March
Firmly established as one of Johannesburg’s premier Women’s Month events, the festival celebrates excellence, resilience and the extraordinary contribution of women.
The 2026 edition carries added significance as South Africa marks the 70th anniversary of the historic 1956 Women’s March to the Union Buildings, connecting the legacy of those who marched with the voices shaping the present.

Important Tribute To Women 2026 Rules:
Please note that children under 5 enter free, and while weapons and illegal substances are strictly prohibited, attendees are welcome to bring camp chairs and picnic blankets (though tables and gazebos are not allowed).
You may bring soft picnic baskets with food, but strictly no hard cooler boxes, alcohol, or liquids are permitted, and there are no pass-outs while the show is in progress or refunds issued.
