Westworld has received great acclaim for its stunning visuals, approach to A.I., and twisty stories, which will undoubtedly continue in season 3.

It’s expected that Season 3 is going to venture into the real world. Reports have suggested that season will only have 8 episodes.
Showrunners Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan Nolan confirmed that not only would season 3 be very different, but that it will offer the opportunity to explore the perspective of a species with a nigh-immortal lifespan. At that point, characters can start thinking about things in the span of eons as opposed to years.
Lena Waithe (The Chi) will appear in Westworld Season 3. It’s unknown what role she will be playing but it’s expected to involve the incoming conflict between robots / hosts and humanity.
Breaking Bad‘s Aaron Paul has been cast as a series regular for the upcoming season. HBO and Westworld producers are staying mum on what role Paul might play, which is par for the course with this show.
Vincent Cassel has been cast in an unknown role. The French actor is known for roles in Ocean’s Twelve, Black Swan, and Jason Bourne.
No release date has been confirmed yet, but it’s expected to be in the last quarter of 2019 or sometime in 2020. There was a 14 month gap between Season 1 and 2, so we could be in for a wait.
