Wolfunding: Help a Wolf to Buy a New Canon

Today I’m going to tell you about Wolfunding, but before I get to that, let me tell you my story first…

At this stage in my life I’m a sad wolf. The Canon 60D camera that I’ve been using for the last 8 years has been giving me problems lately. I visited Boutique Farm Festival in January, slipped and cracked my camera’s LCD.

The camera’s LCD is fixable, but there’s a few functions that don’t work on the camera anymore and I’ve already replaced the shutter twice in the last 8 years. I think it’s safe to say that I really need to get an upgrade to keep up my standard of photography. And I really need your help…

What is Wolfunding all about?

Wolfunding is a crowdfunding campaign aimed at SA artists / bands and live music venues. I need to raise enough funds so I can replace my Canon 60D with new professional Canon photography gear that will enable me to document the SA Music scene more efficiently.

Taking photos has always been a passion of mine. I’ve been writing festival reviews since 2009 and been taking photos of artists, bands and people at festivals and live music venues all over the country since 2010. I love what I do and I would love to continue embracing my passion and spreading the SA Music gospel.
