Great Scott! The Zombieland: Double Tap trailer has been released and it’s look friggin’ awesome. This film (which is a sequel to the 2009 film Zombieland) is coming to a cinema near you in October 2019.

After the events of the first film, Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg), Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson), Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin) move to the American heartland. They face off against evolved zombies, fellow survivors and the growing pains of the snarky makeshift family.

Zombieland: Double Tap is directed by Ruben Fleischer (who also directed the original 2009 film, 2018’s Venom and 2013’s Gangster Squad).

Rumours have been going around that Columbus will have a set of new rules in this film. Bill Murray is also confirmed to return for the sequel. This will be Murray’s first live-action sequel since 1989’s Ghostbusters II. Zombieland: Double Tap will be released on the 10 year anniversary of Zombieland.

The film will also feature performances by Dan Akroyd, Zoey Deutch, Rosario Dawson and Luke Wilson. The film reunites Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd. Both of them previously worked together on the Ghostbusters franchise.

I have to admit that I’m not a huge fan of Zombie films, but I did thoroughly enjoy watching the first film. I dunno about you guys and girls, but I’m pretty excited to watch Zombieland: Double Tap. The trailer is so good, it’s just adding to my excitement for it. Check it out below.
