2. Young, Gifted & Queer – Streaming from Thursday, 2 October on Showmax
“As Black and queer people, we have this gift of just being cool, of knowing what’s hot, of knowing what’s gonna pop, and we’ve always done this,” says kwaai diva Umlilo in the trailer for Young, Gifted & Queer.

Comedian Jerrod Carmichael returns for his fourth HBO stand-up special, Don’t Be Gay. It comes three years after his groundbreaking Emmy-winning special Rothaniel, where he came out publicly.

From Oscar-winning director Steven Soderbergh comes Black Bag, one of Metacritic’s top 10 films of 2025 so far.
Michael Fassbender and Cate Blanchett star as elite intelligence agents George and Kathryn Woodhouse. When Kathryn is accused of treason, George must choose between loyalty to his country or his marriage.
