Prepare for a night of nostalgia, legacy, and fearless humour as some of the biggest names in South African comedy take the stage.

    A Legacy of Laughter

This year’s edition pays tribute to the comedians who helped launch Kings & Queens of Comedy in 2012. Five original performers—Darren ‘Wackhead’ Simpson, Chris Forrest, Joey Rasdien, Angel Campey, and Trevor Gumbi—return to the stage, showcasing how comedy has evolved while celebrating their enduring success in the industry.

    Star-Studded Line-Up

Durban (In Association with East Coast Radio):

Darren Maule, Alfred Adriaan, Darren Simpson, Trevor Gumbi, Annalakshmi, Angel Campey, Muthu Murugan, Khanyisa Bunu, Joey Rasdien, Conrad Koch & Chester Missing, and Chris Forrest.

The Vision Behind Kings & Queens Of Comedy

Reflecting on this journey, Blu Blood co-founders Osman Osman and Shaaista Khan Osman share: “When we first started this brand 13 years ago, our vision was to create a platform that not only showcases South Africa’s best comedic talent but also brings people together through the universal language of laughter.”

“Year after year, we’ve seen it grow in scale and impact, and we are so proud of the diverse talent that graces our stage. This year’s edition is no exception – it’s bigger, bolder, and funnier than ever before!”

    A Comedy Powerhouse

Over the years, Kings & Queens of Comedy has delivered legendary performances, viral stand-up moments, and sold-out shows, proving the undeniable power of laughter.

The South African comedy landscape has evolved, with digital platforms bringing stand-up to wider audiences and new comedians pushing boundaries. Yet, the icons of the stage continue to thrive, shaping the industry for future generations.
