If you used to surf the Internet back in the early 00’s, you remember what it was like. When visiting such sites now, you will feel the pleasant nostalgia for the time long gone, but you’re unlikely to stay there for a long time because they are not user-friendly.
That’s why we will tell you about the technologies that have improved the Internet and made it as we know it now.
Here are 5 Technologies that made the Internet better
VPN
The invention of VPN has changed the users’ notion of security and data privacy. Now you can install the Сanada proxy from soax.com and visit any resources without:
- restrictions;
- hiding your IP-address;
- protecting your data from leakage.
If you do not use such technologies, your data becomes more vulnerable, and you can visit only resources permitted in your country.
Search engines
It is very difficult to imagine the modern Internet without search engines. Search engines used to be a very convenient way to find something specific in various pages, they were more useful than newsgroups or site directories. Today, search engines play the role of a kind of sage answering any question in a few seconds. And that is great.
Java and JavaScript
For a very long time, the Internet lacked interactive features. No matter how beautiful the images of the pages were or how interesting the text was, it was too much like a newspaper but not like a good web page. Java and JavaScript have made steps toward an interactive web. Now, many users are unaware that Java and JavaScript, despite their similar names, are very different technologies. But due to them, the browser has «learned» to respond to user manipulation, giving them a feeling of power over the web page.
Online stores and payment systems
Online shopping has become a dream come true for many users. You no longer need to waste time shopping, looking for a rare but necessary thing, you can just use the search engine. It is easy to find out the average price of goods by looking at several online stores. Today, absolutely everything can be found on the Internet, and you can even save money. Payment systems are also a great benefit, allowing you to make various payment operations, such as paying for the Internet or mobile connection, without leaving your home.
Messengers and social networks
For people of the past, the ability to communicate with anyone, regardless of the distance, seemed like a pipe dream. But for modern men spoiled by digital technologies this dream has long become true. Due to messengers and social networks, you can find new friends, find out useful information from colleagues, find people you haven’t seen for a long time (distant relatives, classmates, etc.), and do many other useful things.
