My Music Pick for March 2025

Jonah Kagen’s “The Reaper” is definitely the track I’ve listened to on repeat this month. This has to be one of the coolest tracks that I’ve listened to in years. Feel free to crank it up, LOUDLY (if you can).

    More info about Jonah Kagen

In case you did not know, Jonah Kagen is a 25-year-old singer-songwriter and guitarist from Savannah, Georgia (in the USA). He has made a significant mark in the music industry with his heartfelt blend of acoustic folk, pop, and indie sounds.
He started playing guitar at age six, inspired by his jazz musician grandfather and guitarist Andy McKee, and later gained fame in 2020 through TikTok, where his viral hit “Broken” led to a deal with Arista Records.
With over 250 million global streams, his debut EP Georgia got colder (2022) and the critically acclaimed The Roads (2023) showcase his lyrical vulnerability and genre-transcending style, drawing influences from artists like Ed Sheeran, Noah Kahan, and Townes Van Zandt.
Beyond music, Kagen, a former captain of Cornell University’s varsity men’s soccer team, lives a nomadic life in a 2019 Airstream, touring the U.S., recording on the road, and connecting with fans through his 2.5 million monthly Spotify listeners as of late 2024.
