Chambers Touring and Big Concerts have officially announced the return of Jimmy Carr, one of the biggest-selling comedy acts in the world, to South Africa.
The globally renowned comedian is set to bring his brand-new stand-up show, Jimmy Carr: Laughs Funny, to Pretoria and Cape Town in March 2027.
Expect Edgy Comedy and Banter
If you enjoy fast-paced, edgy one-liners, this is the show for you. Carr operates on the premise that jokes are like magnets: they attract people, but they can also repel.
While his notoriously dark brand of comedy might not be for everyone, fans of his sharp wit and boundary-pushing material are guaranteed a fantastic night out.
As always, audiences can expect plenty of ruthless crowd work and banter, meaning only the very brave should dare to book seats in the front row.
Jimmy Carr SA Tour Dates and Ticketing Information
The South African leg of the tour carries a strict age restriction of 16 and older. Tickets officially went on sale on 2 October 2026 and are available via Ticketmaster and the Big Concerts website.
Fans are strongly advised to avoid secondary ticketing platforms like Viagogo, as unlawfully resold tickets will result in denied entry at the venue without a refund.
Event Details:
- Pretoria: 13 March 2027 at the SunBet Arena, Time Square
- Cape Town: 14 March 2027 at the Grand Arena, GrandWest
