TCL Electronics, the global leader in ultra-large screen TVs and a major player in home appliances, has expanded its partnership with Call of Duty as Black Ops 7 launches worldwide.

Returning as the Official TV Partner, TCL is pairing its latest QD-Mini LED technology with one of gaming’s biggest releases, giving players sharper visuals, richer detail and a more immersive experience across every mission.

TCL and Call of Duty Black Ops 7

The Call of Duty universe thrives on scale, detail and rapid tactical movement – elements that come alive on large, high-performance displays. TCL’s QD-Mini LED TVs strengthen these qualities with advanced dimming, high refresh rates and controlled brightness that help players track movement, read the battlefield and react with precision.

TCL C7K: Brighter, Sharper and Designed for Impact

The C7K boosts performance with up to 2,800 local dimming zones and 3,000 nits peak brightness, giving players higher contrast and lifelike depth. A 144Hz native refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and refined Game Modes keep motion fluid during high-intensity moments. Elevated HDR also improves clarity of textures, menus and lighting – ideal for diving into the darker, grittier tone of Black Ops 7.

TCL C6K: Fast and Responsive for Competitive Players

Built for players who prioritise speed, the C6K features a 144Hz native refresh rate, VRR and exceptionally low input lag.

Its QD-Mini LED backlight uses hundreds of dimming zones to reveal detail in shadowed environments, helping players spot threats and map elements in close-quarters encounters. For big-screen setups where responsiveness is everything, the C6K delivers reliable performance.

TCL C8K: Flagship Power Coming to South Africa in 2026

Launching locally in 2026, the C8K is designed for gamers who want the most cinematic and commanding display.

With up to 3,840 dimming zones and a peak brightness between 4,500 and 5,000 nits (depending on size), it delivers remarkable clarity and contrast. Its 4K 144Hz panel, advanced motion handling and wide QD colour range – covering 97% of DCI-P3 – bring a billion rich colours to life while preserving detail during rapid movement.

Game Master: Tools Designed for Serious Gamers

All three models include TCL’s Game Master technology, which automatically optimises latency, manages VRR and FreeSync settings, and offers an on-screen gaming dashboard for quick adjustments. Shadow-boosting features enhance darker areas, giving players better visibility during tactical encounters.

Wide Viewing Angles for Team and Shared Play

TCL’s QD-Mini LED range maintains colour accuracy and brightness even when viewed from an angle. Whether players are seated off-centre or sharing the screen during co-op sessions, the image stays consistent—an essential strength for large-screen gaming.

A Partnership Built on Years of Collaboration

TCL and Call of Duty have a long history of working together across multiple releases, events and creator activations. This relationship has helped TCL refine gaming-focused features that match the evolving standards of the franchise.

From earlier Black Ops entries to this year’s Call of Duty: NEXT, TCL has collaborated with Activision to understand what players need from a high-performance display. With Black Ops 7, the partnership moves into a new phase -combining cutting-edge QD-Mini LED innovation with one of gaming’s most influential franchises.

    Industry Leaders Share Their Vision

“Call of Duty has always pushed visual boundaries,” said Scott Ramirez, Vice President of Product Marketing and Development at TCL Home Theater. “With Black Ops 7 and our latest QD-Mini LED TVs, players can experience the brightness, contrast and motion handling intended by the game’s creators.”

“Our partnership reflects our shared mission to deliver powerful, immersive experiences,” added Mr. Majid Khan Niazi, Marketing Director for TCL Middle East & Africa. “With Black Ops 7 and our newest lineup, we’re providing the clarity, precision and responsiveness players expect from modern gaming displays.”
