Acer Africa has officially launched the Acer AITV, its first-ever 4K UHD Google TV streaming device, with South Africa serving as the global debut market for this cutting-edge smart entertainment product.
“We ran a soft launch at Comicon Africa in September to test interest and concepts while preparing our go-to-market campaign, and the feedback was incredible,” said Glenn Du Toit, Country Manager of Acer Africa.

The Acer AITV runs on Google TV and gives instant access to DSTV Stream, eVOD, Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Showmax, Amazon Prime Video, and hundreds of other local and international apps.
With 4K UHD streaming, Dolby Audio, and AI Super Resolution upscaling, it delivers cinema-quality entertainment to any TV, whether an older Plasma set or the latest 85-inch OLED model.
