From is a science fiction horror television series created by John Griffin that premiered on February 20, 2022, on Epix (now known as MGM+). The show has attracted attention for its distinctive premise and intricate storytelling, often being compared to other mystery-focused series like Lost.
The series takes place in a nightmarish town that ensnares anyone who enters. Its residents contend with horrifying nocturnal creatures lurking in the surrounding forest as they search for a way out.
The story begins with the Matthews family, who, while on a road trip, become trapped in this enigmatic town when a fallen tree obstructs their path.
The locals reveal that no one can escape; every exit route leads them back to the town. As the plot develops, the characters must navigate their unsettling new reality while unraveling hidden secrets about the town and its residents.
From features performances by Harold Perrineau, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, David Alpay, Elizabeth Saunders, Shaun Majumder, Scott McCord, Ricky He, Chloe Van Landschoot, Pegah Ghafoori, Corteon Moore, Hannah Cheramy, Simon Webster, Avery Konrad, Paul Zinno, Elizabeth Moy, Deborah Grover, Angela Moore, Kaelen Ohm, A.J.
