The countdown to summer is officially on! Lucky Fish Get Lucky Summer is returning for its 14th year, bringing its signature summer concert experience back to Cape Town and the Garden Route during the 2026/27 festive season.
Founded by South Africa’s multi-award-winning live electronic band GoodLuck, the event has grown into the most established summer concert series on the Garden Route, uniting live music, families, and friends in some of the country’s most beautiful destinations.
Get Lucky Summer: A Reimagined Festival Experience
This summer, the much-loved concert series is unveiling a complete brand and festival experience redesign. From the visual identity and event environments to the way audiences experience the festival from arrival through to the final song, every touchpoint has been reimagined to create a more immersive and contemporary atmosphere.
According to Peters, the Co-Founder and Festival Creative Director, the team has worked incredibly hard to bring a much bigger vision to life based on audience feedback.
The redesign introduces new creative elements, festival spaces, and activations while staying true to the heart of the event: great live music, sunshine, and connection. It marks an exciting new chapter as it evolves from a standard concert series into a fully realized summer festival experience.
