Manfred Inc (real name Manfred Petersen) is a Soulful South African Acoustic Pop Singer-Songwriter born in Cape Town, South Africa. Manfred grew up on the Cape Flats with an innate love and passion for music.
He takes listeners on a captivating journey through a musical world where freedom and joy balance out social injustices internalised and transformed by street performers. His lyrics are reflective of his ‘Cape Flats’ roots and embrace the essence of Manfred’s life from an urban perspective.
Manfred Inc’s performances shine the spotlight on African artists, who like him create live music on the streets of Cape Town to earn a living and help beautify space by public art, powered by sound. His love for music started with his mother and father who inspired him to follow in their footsteps. His mother had a musical voice and sung in Church and his father stirred on the creativeness in the family with his harmonica. 1. Manfred Inc’s favourite sport is Soccer. Other than a musician, he wanted to become a professional Soccer Player and is currently doing his UEFA Coaching Licence with Scottish FA.

3. Manfred is a big adventurist and likes travelling. He has an ambition to travel the world one day.
4. Denzel Washington is his favourite actor. He would also like to try and do acting one day.
5. He had a cat when he was young. He is very fond of cats along with his brother.
6. He grew up poor having to overcome a lot of obstacles like gangsterism in his neighbourhood.
7. He sadly lost his mother in 2020 to Hypertension and lost his father in 2011 to Liver Cancer.
8. His favourite color is blue.
9. Manfred loves cars, with the Lamborghini being his favourite.
