Get ready, South African Supernatural fans — Misha Collins is officially joining the lineup for Comic Con Africa 2025! The beloved actor, activist, and New York Times bestselling author will be gracing the Johannesburg Expo Centre from Friday, 29 August to Saturday, 30 August, and we’re counting down the days.
Misha Collins is best known for his decade-long portrayal of Castiel, the trench coat-wearing angel from Supernatural, the longest-running U.S. sci-fi series in history. His iconic performance earned him a passionate global fanbase, and he continues to captivate audiences with every role he takes on.
Most recently, he stepped into the shoes of Harvey Dent (aka Two-Face) in the CW’s Gotham Knights, and you might also recognize him from appearances in 24, ER, Charmed, and as the host of the Emmy-nominated Roadfood series on PBS.
Misha Collins is more than just an actor
Misha Collins isn’t just a talented actor — he’s also a published poet and humanitarian. His poetry collection, Some Things I Still Can’t Tell You, became a New York Times bestseller, and his spooky podcast Bridgewater held the #1 spot in Apple’s fiction podcast charts two years in a row.
Off the page and mic, Misha is the founder of Random Acts, a nonprofit dedicated to spreading kindness, and GISH, the world’s largest scavenger hunt, which has raised millions for charity.
