Disney+ has released the first teaser trailer for Don’t Look Back In Anger, a new documentary chronicling the remarkable reunion of Oasis.

The announcement comes exactly one year after Liam and Noel Gallagher reunited on stage in Cardiff, Wales, to launch the band’s Oasis Live ’25 tour – their first live performance together in 16 years.

Oasis Don't Look Back in Anger

The documentary will premiere in select IMAX and cinemas this September before streaming exclusively on Disney+ internationally. In the United States, it will be available on both Disney+ and Hulu later this year.

Don’t Look Back In Anger Follows Oasis‘ Historic Reunion

Don’t Look Back In Anger documents Oasis‘ triumphant Live ’25 reunion tour, widely regarded as one of the biggest rock comebacks in recent history.

The film captures the excitement surrounding the sold-out global tour while exploring the emotional connection between the band and generations of fans.

Audiences can expect exclusive rehearsal footage, behind-the-scenes moments, onstage access and, for the first time in more than two decades, a joint interview with Liam and Noel Gallagher.

Alongside the live performances, the documentary examines the lasting cultural impact of Oasis and the enduring appeal of its music around the world.

Steven Knight Brings the Oasis Story to the Big Screen

The documentary was created by BAFTA and Academy Award-nominated writer, producer and director Steven Knight, best known for Peaky Blinders and A Thousand Blows. Direction comes from Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, the filmmaking duo behind Shut Up and Play the Hits and Meet Me in the Bathroom.

Speaking about the project, Knight said the Oasis reunion tour united generations, cultures and countries while offering a message of reconciliation.

He described Don’t Look Back In Anger as more than a concert film, saying it gives fans unprecedented backstage access and an intimate look at Liam and Noel Gallagher as they reflect on their past and present together.

Don’t Look Back In Anger Features Unprecedented Access

Produced by Magna Studios and presented by Sony Music Vision in association with Sony Music Entertainment UK, Don’t Look Back In Anger promises never-before-seen footage from one of the most talked-about musical reunions in decades.

The production is led by producers Sam Bridger, whose previous credits include Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now and Meet Me in the Bathroom, alongside Guy Heeley, known for Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man.

The creative team also features Academy Award-winning sound mixers James Mather (Top Gun: Maverick and Belfast) and Tarn Willers (The Zone of Interest), cinematographer Haris Zambarloukos (Belfast and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice), and editors George Cragg and Martina Zamolo.

When Will Don’t Look Back In Anger Be Released?

Fans will be able to experience Don’t Look Back In Anger in select IMAX theatres and cinemas this September before it makes its streaming debut on Disney+ internationally later this year.

Offering exclusive access, candid interviews and unforgettable performances, the documentary promises to be essential viewing for Oasis fans and music lovers alike.
