Jacaranda FM is thrilled to announce the overwhelming success of the 2024 Good Morning Angels Golf Day, held on Thursday, 5 September at Centurion’s Irene Country Club. The event raised an incredible R4.85 million to support and uplift those in need.
Thanks to the dedication, contributions, and generosity of both participants and sponsors, the station exceeded its fundraising goals, securing vital funds to make a positive impact. Over 60 companies took part, showcasing their remarkable support for the Good Morning Angels initiative.
The 2024 Good Morning Angels Golf Day was more than a fundraising event
It was a celebration of compassion, hope, and community. Golfers and supporters alike embraced the opportunity to contribute to a cause that resonates deeply with many. The funds raised will help Good Morning Angels continue its crucial work, providing much-needed assistance to families and individuals facing hardship.
“This year’s Good Morning Angels Golf Day was exceptional in every way,” said Martin Bester. “The tee box sponsors made it fun and engaging, and the generosity of our sponsors made this event the biggest yet. After raising R4 million last year, I didn’t expect to surpass that, but our listeners, advertisers, and partners came through and helped us raise even more this year. I’m so proud to be part of such an amazing day.”
Deirdre King, Managing Director at Jacaranda FM, added, “The generosity and commitment of our participants and sponsors have been truly overwhelming. Raising R4.85 million is a fantastic achievement, and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible support from companies and individuals who believe in giving back. This will make a huge difference in the lives of those who need it most.”
