A 30 track Deezer playlist to improve your week

It’s the first week of June 2016 and winter has arrived in full force in South Africa. I’m freezing my behind off on my way to work on most mornings, but I’m not complaining: I’ve stocked up on coffee, I have warm clothes to keep my body warm and a shitload of tunes to warm up my soul that I can listen to on Deezer.

This week’s playlist features the new Red Hot Chili Peppers single, the new single from the KONGOS (who are returning to South Africa in August this year), an amazing track off the recently released New Academics album, a killer Indie track from Pretoria based act We Are Charlie, a classic track from New Holland, the first single off the upcoming Billy Talent album, the latest single from SA Pop Punk maestros Made for Broadway, the new Blink 182 single, a track off the latest Iron Maiden album, sleazy rock ‘n roll from Slash, my favorite track off the last Bullet For My Valentine album (which was released in 2015), some Five Finger Death Punch, a Happy song from Bring Me The Horizon, some classic 90’s angst from Rage Against the Machine and tracks from Taxi Violence, Fokofpolisiekar, The Narrow and Hellcats (South African rock acts that I can’t stop listening to).

There’s also a track off the latest Wolfmother album, a new single from Thrice, the first single that was released off the upcoming Biffy Clyro album, a song from Cage The Elephant (a band I really hope makes their way to South Africa this year), one of my favorite tracks by The Hives, a track off the last Eagles of Death Metal album, one of my favorite Black Rebel Motorcycle Club tunes, a classic 90’s track off Beck’s “Odelay” album, some good old Weezer, some good old Black Keys, my favorite track on the new Albert Frost album and a brand new song from Chevelle (who are releasing a new album in July).

Crank this playlist up if you want to improve your week. I had a lot of fun setting this up, so you’ll most likely have a lot of fun listening to it:
