Gallo Records/Content Connect Africa has released “Tattooed To My Heart,” Anacy’s new hit single. With its inherently joyful get-up-and-go disposition, this new single, layered with smooth vocals on a sunny pop electronic beat is a solid electro pop winner. The single is available on all digital platforms.
When asked about the song and her inspiration on “Tattooed To My Heart” Anacy says that the the song is about falling in love when you least expect and how doing so can make one behave in cringe worthy, crazy and cliché ways.
Some might call it madness, but she calls it love. It’s about having the courage to be. brave and take a risk on pursuing a relationship despite being a fearful avoidant because love after all conquers all and the world is a much brighter place where it’s found.
The Synth-Pop singer puts a brand-new spin on Alt-Pop with her new single. “Tattooed My Heart” arrived on all digital formats via Gallo Records / Content Connect Africa on the 24th of March 2023. Anacy not only crafted this track, she’s also cultivated a wide-ranging record, steeped in synth-pop, disco, and a score of other genres.

Anacy is an Indie Pop artist and songwriter from Cape Town, South Africa. Her parents manifested her career in Arts & Entertainment, naming her Anacy Rose Tainton, which makes up her initials, ART.
She was introduced to music, and dance at a tender age and as a child, she performed in various talent shows and singing competitions.
Original, revolutionary, and compellingly creative: Anacy is an Indie Pop musician like no other. Anacy’s, creative exploration is part of her multi- disciplinary practice spanning music, performance, acting and dance, radio. As an artist – she sketches a musical experience.
The last few years have seen her attention turn to live performances including Cape Town Coffee Festival, Cafe Roux, Raptor Room (to name a few). Her songwriting influences include Tracy Chapman, Katie Malua, London Grammar, Lana Del Rey, Lorde, Florence and the Machine and Birdy.
