Cape Town based singer-songwriter Liam Burger has announced the release of his forthcoming EP ‘Wide Awake’ – due on December 3rd – along with the release of his brand new single ‘Falling Apart’, which is out today.
Liam Burger is fast becoming one of SA’s finest new singer-songwriters and his nostalgic, but modern style of song writing has seen four of his previous singles, with the most recent ‘When I Met You’, achieve success on radio around the country.
Liam comments on “Falling Apart”
“’Falling Apart’ is a song about a relationship coming to a non- mutual end, leaving the other half heartbroken. The song is not based on my personal experiences, but of a few close friends that had in the past year separated from long term partners as well as ended relationships with close friends. In this song I have written about that feeling of rejection after giving someone your all and without this person in your life you cannot function, and your life starts to fall apart.”
