It almost feels unreal being back at work. Oppikoppi 2013 Bewilderbeast was one of the most awesome experiences of my life. There were quite a few highlights at the festival for me this year, and you can read all about them in the My 2 Cents on Oppikoppi 2013 Bewilderbeast article (which was published late last week on this blog).
To pay homage to all the local artists that performed at this year’s festival, I’ve decided to post one photo of every artist that I watched and photographed, I hope that you’ll enjoy this trip down festival memory lane. This album contains photos of Stefan Dixon, Kid of Doom, Pestroy, Dan Patlansky, Vana & the Oh So Serious, The Black Cat Bones, Fokofpolisiekar, Ballistic Blues Band, Woodstock Mafia, Naming James, Albert Frost, Goodnight Wembley, Koos Kombuis, Matthew Mole, Gangs of Ballet, Finley Quae, Shadowclub, Tumi Modikane, Die Heuwels Fantasties, Bittereinder, Jack Parow, Cortina Whiplash, Guanaco, The Faradays, Rambling Bones, Feed the Wolf, Beatenberg, Shortstraw, Jeremy Loops, Mango Groove, Gerald Clark, ISO and The Narrow.
Whilst uploading these photos I realized that I saw 31 South African acts perform at Oppikoppi 2013 Bewilderbeast – not bad for a 36 year old whose joints don’t always work like they used to. You can view more photos from the festival on the Henno Kruger Photography page.
If you’ve enjoyed viewing these photos, feel free to share this article with your friends on Facebook and Twitter. Remember: Sharing is Caring.
