Pictonico! is a fast-paced action game for Android and iOS that transforms your personal photo gallery into a playground of comedy and chaos.

Developed by Nintendo EPD and Intelligent Systems, the creative team behind the legendary WarioWare series, this “free-to-start” mobile title lets you use your own photos or take new ones to create bizarre, WarioWare-style minigames that put you, your friends, and your family in the center of the action.

The game scans the faces in your photos and injects them into a series of wild, rapid-fire challenges. You might find yourself helping your boss eat lunch, zipping your child’s mouth shut, or plucking nose hairs off a family member, all within a matter of seconds.

Whether it is a snapshot from a holiday or a random selfie, Pictonico! creates a personalized and often hilarious experience that breathes new life into your static photo gallery.

WarioWare-Style Gameplay: Navigate up to 80 chaotic minigames, ranging from easy to tricky, all controlled via simple, intuitive touch-screen gestures.

Share the Laughs: Save the silly, often absurd outcomes of each minigame as photos or videos and share them with the friends and family who starred in them. It is the perfect way to spark a conversation or trigger a good laugh in the group chat.

Flexible Access: While you can try a few minigames for free via the initial demo, you can purchase additional thematic volumes to unlock the full library of 80 unique minigames.

Privacy First: Security is a priority. Your photos stay strictly on your device and are not sent to Nintendo’s servers. You have total control over what appears in the game.

Offline Ready: A constant internet connection is not required to enjoy the game, though temporary network access is needed for the initial setup and to purchase additional game volumes.

Platforms where Pictonico! is available: Android and iOS (Launched May 28, 2026).

Account: A Nintendo Account is not required to play.

More info about Nintendo

Nintendo Co., Ltd. is a global leader in the interactive entertainment industry, headquartered in Kyoto, Japan. Since its founding in 1889 as a manufacturer of handmade playing cards, the company has evolved through various business ventures – including taxi services and instant rice – before finding its true purpose in the electronic toy and video game market during the 1970s and 1980s.

The company is widely credited with revitalizing the home console industry following the video game crash of 1983. By launching the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in North America, Nintendo introduced iconic franchises that defined generations of gaming.

Titles such as Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, and Metroid established a standard for game design, narrative depth, and mechanical polish that remains influential today.

Throughout its history, Nintendo has distinguished itself by prioritizing innovation and gameplay experience over raw hardware performance.

This strategy was evident in the development of the Game Boy, which popularized portable gaming, and later in the motion-control revolution triggered by the Nintendo Wii.

The company continues this focus today with the Nintendo Switch 2, released in 2025, a hybrid console architecture that seamlessly bridges the gap between home-based and mobile gaming while introducing modernized hardware capabilities.

Beyond software and hardware, Nintendo maintains one of the most recognizable catalogs of intellectual property in the world. Its commitment to creating family-friendly, high-quality entertainment has allowed its characters to transcend gaming, expanding into successful cinematic ventures, theme park collaborations, and extensive merchandise lines.

By consistently emphasizing creativity, “fun-first” design philosophy, and the preservation of its legacy, Nintendo remains a cornerstone of the global digital entertainment landscape.

Pictonico! represents the next evolution of Nintendo’s commitment to fun and accessible gaming, blending cutting-edge mobile tech with the signature whimsical charm that the company is famous for.

So far, user reception has been generally positive for Pictonico!, with many fans praising its creativity, humor, and its status as a spiritual successor to the WarioWare series. It currently holds a favorable standing, including an 8/10 score from Nintendo Life.
