ULTRA South Africa is gearing up for its monumental 10th anniversary, promising an unforgettable experience across two cities.

The celebrations will kick off at The Ostrich in Cape Town on Friday, May 9, 2025, and continue at the Expo Centre at Nasrec in Johannesburg on Saturday, May 10, 2025. This milestone edition is set to be the most electrifying yet, showcasing a blend of international superstars and top-tier local talent.

ULTRA South Africa 2025

Headlining the Main Stage are electronic music heavyweights including Dutch maestro Armin van Buuren, hard trap innovator ISOxo, and the genre-bending KSHMR. Adding to the excitement, Martin Garrix, who graced the stage at the inaugural ULTRA South Africa in 2014, will return for this special anniversary.

The RESISTANCE Stage will cater to underground music aficionados with a world-class lineup. Melodic techno virtuoso Massano, Italian duo Mind Against, and South African legend Shimza (performing in Johannesburg) are among the headliners.

Beyond the headliners, ULTRA South Africa boasts an impressive roster of supporting acts. Gil Glaze, Culoe de Song, Da Capo, DBN GOGO, DJ Lag, Dlala Thukzin, Fiona Kraft, Herdroom, Kabza de Small, Maphorisa, Mörda, Oscar Mbo, Sona, and Vigro Deep are just a few of the artists set to perform.

The Johannesburg edition will feature two additional stages: The Groove Room and The Clubhouse. Amapiano and Afro beats will take center stage at The Groove Room, showcasing South Africa’s brightest stars, including Kabza De Small, Maphorisa, DBN GOGO, Dlala Thukzin, Oscar Mbo, DJ Lag, 2wo Bunnies, Mörda, Thakzin, Vigro Deep, Omagoqa, and Lelowhatsgood.

For those seeking more intimate and underground sounds, The Clubhouse will host artists like Jevan Binder, Shamiso, Da Capo, Kasango, Mpho.Wav, Darque, Tristan Urwin, A.ND, Son of Dennis, and Buhle.
