There is no proper way to adequately express the emotion of seeing a work of art in person that you have studied so methodically in books, essays, and talks. Still, this activity allows us to witness and learn from various masterpieces.
When you take a tour around stunning and historical buildings that you’ve read in-depth descriptions of, you can now describe them elaborately and eloquently from your viewpoint. No matter what medium you use, travel offers a way to expose yourself to new ideas, fresh approaches, and many new artful perspectives!

You can easily take pictures of the settings you’re in and make sketches of them if you enjoy painting cityscapes or landscapes. More importantly, sketching and painting in urban and vacation settings can help you identify images that appeal to you. Later, you can add these pictures to your personal symbols board to help you identify your visual language.
5. Crafting a reservoir of new ideas
Ideas are not limited, despite what it sometimes seems like. Every aspect of your activities will stay with you and leave an impact that will inspire brilliant ideas for the future. The world is incredibly diverse, including its cuisine, architecture, music, customs, etc.
People you encounter along the way are immense reservoirs of information and assets just waiting to be utilized. The beautiful memories you’ve shared with them will inspire your paintings as you get closer to them.
The lovely life experiences you capture during your journeys, urban sketching, and painting activities will significantly enhance your life and art.
It is wise to take a break from the monotony of conventional ideas to create freshly charged artwork!
