Sad News! The Ticketpro Dome has been sold by the owners, Sasol Pension Fund, to a third party which does not operate in the event space. RX Venue Management (the management company of South Africa’s largest multipurpose indoor arena) announced this with a heavy heart today. This is another devasting blow for the exhibitions, events, and entertainment industry due to Covid-19. In an on-going moral and legal battle, the South African Music Performance Rights Association (SAMPRA) is continuing to fight for recording artists and record companies by instituting legal action against the South African Broadcast Corporation (SABC).
