Austrian producer and DJ extraordinaire Tobias Bergson has officially released his highly anticipated new EP, Promise.
Dropped on 9 October 2026 via PLAYY. Records, the project marks another major milestone in a rapidly ascending career. Boasting over 180 million streams across all platforms, Bergson has already secured high praise from industry luminaries such as Don Diablo, Lost Frequencies, and Steve Aoki.

Bergson’s passion for music ignited at the age of 17 when he immersed himself in computer programming and digital music production. Today, the Austrian talent crafts emotive, melancholic tracks that skillfully blend dancefloor euphoria with intimate emotiveness.
Drawing inspiration from electronic heavyweights like Deadmau5, Ben Böhmer, Rampa, and Chris Malinchak, his mesmerizing soundscapes incorporate deep house, techno, progressive, lounge, and classic house elements to convey deeply personal emotions and experiences.
The EP’s lead track, “Promise”, opens on a pensive note with an undulating synth pulse layered beneath an almost imperceptibly soft wash of vocals. The track quickly gives way to an Afro-house-inspired rhythm section, driving forward as layers of synthesized instrumentation take turns entering the mix. Discussing the creation of the project, Tobias Bergson explained that the EP came together over the course of the past year as he experimented with incorporating melodic techno into his signature style.
He focused heavily on creating music that would translate seamlessly into his live sets, deliberately balancing bass-heavy, high-energy tracks with intricate melodic moments. The result is a dynamic, weighty collection that maintains a stunning melodic core from start to finish.
