Aymos, the multi-award-winning artist also known as Babill Amos Shii, has released a new single titled “10K.” This track features collaborations with Samthing Soweto and Shasha, with production by Mas Musiq. The song precedes Aymos’ upcoming album Impilo.

Aymos, who began his musical career in church and school choirs, continues to create music that resonates globally. “10K” explores the theme of lobola negotiations, depicting the cultural significance and emotional journey of gathering resources to honor a partner’s family.

The song opens with the artist singing in his native language about the financial aspects of lobola. Samthing Soweto contributes with lyrics expressing deep love and commitment. The collaboration between Aymos, Samthing Soweto, Shasha, and Mas Musiq creates a harmonious blend of vocals and production.
The multi-award winning artist has explained that the inspiration for “10K” came from observing his family’s joy during lobola negotiations and cultural wedding preparations. This theme of life’s beauty inspired the album title Impilo.
