The third single from Cape Town based artist and songwriter, Benjamin Fisher, is an anthem that embodies the idea of simply not backing down.
Titled “Charlie Boy” and released on the 2nd of February 2024 through Netherlands-based The Good Times Co, the drum-and-guitar fuelled track radiates a message of resilience.

Urged forward by an infectious chorus (“run around Charlie, run”) the track features Fisher’s signature bluesy piano playing and reveals another side to his voice, echoing the power of the best rock singers, past and present.

“Charlie Boy” follows on from Fisher’s debut with The Good Times Co, the beautifully nostalgic “What It Was” (November 2022) and subsequent single, the moving and heartfelt “Time” (July 2023).
