The album is the result of a close collaboration with acclaimed producer Robin Walsh. Their partnership began unexpectedly in late 2023 when a mutual friend introduced Charlie to Robin, who instantly recognized the promise in Charlie’s demos.
Together, they carefully narrowed down a catalog of over 100 songs to 19 tracks that stood out as both personal favorites and crowd-pleasers.
The decision to split the collection into two releases—*Side A* and *Side B*—is a nod to the nostalgic charm of classic vinyl records, encouraging listeners to experience each album as a unique and immersive journey.
Recording sessions were deliberately kept organic, capturing the raw, live-band energy that defines Charlie’s signature style.
Charlie began with guitar and vocal tracks, followed by contributions from the drummer and bassist, creating a dynamic and unfiltered sound. Robin Walsh added layers with guitar and organ, even incorporating his girlfriend’s vocals to enhance the harmonies, bringing richness and depth to the music.
