Elle E has released a brand new single entitled “Oh Blue Eyes”. “Oh Blue Eyes” is an untraditional love song about the beauty found in heartache and pain. Oftentimes one loses themselves in a relationship yet still longs for a change. It’s about someone who’s lost themselves in a relationship and was looking for a way to escape their reality holding a deep longing for change.

Elle E was once described by NME as a “one woman guitar menace from Cape Town”. She was born on a farm, but started making her first music while living in London. Ellenie’s obsession with music has seen her forever exploring new sounds, and – over the years – creating albums and EP’s as Catwalk Trash, Two Stroke and Elle E.
Her career in music has journeyed through lo-fi electronica, DIY experimentalism and fiery garage rock. Her latest work as Elle E is the culmination of all her influences – an evocative soundscape that combines dreamy analog synth textures, layers of guitar – and the potent voice of a born performer.

This has to be one of the coolest tracks that I’ve heard in 2022. I’m curious to find out what Elle E is going to throw our way during the second half of this year and beyond.
