Roan Ash, now carving out his career from Nashville, has released his new EP Thieves, led by the standout track “So Do I,” a powerful duet with Demi Lee Moore.
“So Do I” is a sweeping country love song threaded with longing, tenderness and the quiet ache of someone who gives everything while wondering if the love is returned in equal measure. Its central question – “What about me?” – lingers long after the final note.

“In relationships, there is always a give and take. It’s been a long time coming. I’m so excited this song is finally dropping.”
Recording the duet with Demi Lee Moore was a long-awaited dream for him. “I’ve been a big fan of Demi for quite some time,” he shares. Demi Lee agrees completely: “For me, it’s been a dream to work with Roan for so long. It’s such a big privilege.”
Beyond blending their vocal strengths, the collaboration also celebrates their shared South African roots. “We’re both South Africans,” Roan says. “This is such a cool way to showcase what South Africa can offer to the world.”
Roan Ash first broke out with “The Traveller” in 2014, and his single “Whiskey to My Soul” has since surpassed 23 million streams on Spotify. In 2024, he signed with Warner Music Nashville, marking a major milestone in his international rise. His performance at CMA Fest in 2019 further cemented his growing reputation for raw, honest storytelling.
Demi Lee Moore, who won Die Kontrak in 2018, has become a leading name in modern South African country. Her album Country topped charts, and this year she appeared on a Times Square billboard for Spotify’s Women’s Equal campaign – a landmark moment for local artists.
