After more than a year since her last release, Simone Toweel returns with her latest single, “Paper Planes”. The track beautifully captures the innocence and freedom of childhood, encouraging listeners to cherish life’s simple pleasures.

“Paper Planes is a personal reminder to slow down and find joy in the little things,” Simone Toweel explains. “As children, we could create magic from almost nothing—a folded piece of paper could become something that soars. I hope this song inspires people to rediscover that sense of wonder.”

This new release continues Simone’s journey as a storyteller and musician, weaving heartfelt messages with her signature sound.

More info about Simone Toweel

Simone Toweel’s music has always been grounded in authenticity. She made her debut in South Africa’s music scene in 2022 with Now You See Me, followed by “Dear Anxiety”, a powerful track addressing mental health that resonated deeply with listeners facing similar challenges.

With “Paper Planes”, Simone continues to deliver music that is both heartfelt and relatable.

Hailing from Durban, Simone’s passion for storytelling began at a young age. Her journey as a songwriter has been defined by her ability to connect with people, transforming personal experiences into songs that inspire and uplift. “This song, in particular, came from reflecting on my own life and how much I’ve grown over the past year,” Simone shares. “It’s a simple song, but sometimes those are the ones that mean the most.”

Paper Planes is now available on Spotify and all other major streaming platforms.
