ULTRA South Africa officially celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2025. Africa’s leading electronic music festival returned to Cape Town on Friday, 9 May 2025 and Johannesburg on Saturday, 10 May 2025.

1. 335 Artists Have Graced the ULTRA SA Stage

Between 2014 and 2024, ULTRA South Africa has hosted 335 artists, featuring top-tier talent from across the globe and various music genres.

A total of 97 performers have taken the ULTRA stage more than once, showing just how magnetic and unmissable this festival truly is.

3. Kyle Cassim Reigns Supreme

Local DJ Kyle Cassim holds the record for the most ULTRA South Africa appearances by a South African artist.

4. Martin Garrix is the Ultimate International Regular

Global superstar Martin Garrix has performed at ULTRA SA more than any other international artist. His first appearance was in 2015 – and he hasn’t stopped coming back.
