Following another hugely successful edition that brought together thousands of music lovers, multiple award-winning South African DJ, entrepreneur, and music producer Oskido is excited to announce that the festival is back!
Bigger than ever before, Big Day Out 2026 promises more music, more vibes, and more unforgettable moments. After listening to overwhelming feedback from festivalgoers, Oskido is introducing a major first: Big Day Out 2026 will feature two stages this year.
More Music, Two Stages
The addition of a second stage will allow for an even larger lineup and a wider celebration of South Africa’s diverse musical landscape, spanning kwaito, house, amapiano, hip hop, and more.
“The support for Big Day Out has been incredible from day one,” says Oskido. “Every year we listen carefully to what our audience wants, and the message was clear last year—give us more music. That’s exactly what we’re delivering in 2026 with an additional stage.”
An Immersive Lifestyle Experience
Set in the heart of Johannesburg on the picturesque grounds of Huddle Park in Linksfield, Big Day Out has become one of South Africa’s most anticipated lifestyle events.
It blends music, food, fashion, and culture into a unique experience that celebrates both heritage and contemporary creativity.
Attendees can expect a vibrant fusion of legendary artists, today’s biggest stars, and exciting new talent, paired with a culinary offering as rich and diverse as the sounds on stage. The festival features curated food zones, fun activations, festival photo ops, and premium hospitality offerings.
