Marvel fans won’t have to wait long for one of July’s biggest premieres. X-Men ’97 returns for its second season on 1 July, launching with two episodes.
The new season finds the iconic mutant team scattered across different periods in history as they attempt to reunite and find their way home.

National Geographic’s Hammerhead Sharks: Up Close with Bertie Gregory arrives on 5 July, with all episodes available to stream.
Wildlife filmmaker Bertie Gregory travels to Mexico’s Baja Peninsula to investigate the mysterious decline of hammerhead sharks. Along the way, viewers are treated to breathtaking underwater encounters while learning more about one of the ocean’s most recognisable and misunderstood predators.
Descendants: Wicked Wonderland Continues the Magical Adventure
Fans of Disney’s Descendants franchise can return to Wonderland when Descendants: Wicked Wonderland premieres on 17 July.
The story follows Red and Chloe as their attempt to rewrite history creates unexpected consequences, forcing them to join forces with new allies to stop a powerful new villain before Wonderland descends into chaos.
King of the Hill Returns for Season 15
One of television’s most beloved animated sitcoms is back. King of the Hill returns for its fifteenth season on 20 July, reuniting viewers with Hank, Peggy, Bobby and the residents of Rainey Street.
While Hank and Peggy settle into retirement, Bobby navigates adulthood as life in Arlen continues to deliver its trademark humour and awkward situations.

Pompeii: Out of Time with Tom Hiddleston Brings Ancient History to Life
Premiering on 23 July, National Geographic’s Pompeii: Out of Time with Tom Hiddleston combines cinematic drama with documentary storytelling to revisit one of history’s most devastating natural disasters.
Hosted by Loki star Tom Hiddleston, the series follows archaeologists, historians, geologists and disaster experts as they uncover new evidence surrounding the eruption of Mount Vesuvius.
Rather than focusing solely on tragedy, the documentary explores the lives of real people who experienced the disaster and reveals that many had the opportunity to survive.
Furious Debuts on Disney+ This July
Disney+ Original series Furious premieres on 27 July, with all episodes available to stream.
Created by Elizabeth Meriwether, the psychological crime thriller stars Emmy Rossum as FBI agent Alice Black, who becomes obsessed with tracking down a mysterious female serial killer. As both women pursue their own versions of justice, the line between right and wrong becomes increasingly blurred.
