Great news! You can now order Chicken Licken on Uber Eats! An announcement was finally made earlier today via the Chicken Licken Twitter account. Fans (like me) are ecstatic.

After constant calls from hot-wing lovers in South Africa, this fast food chain has finally been made available for orders to be delivered via the Uber Eats service.

Chicken Licken was the only major South African fast food chain that was not available for delivery at all. Their competitors like KFC, Nando’s and Barchelos have been available on their own platforms or services like Uber Eats, Mr D and Order In for quite some time.

Chicken Licken’s Chantal Sombonos-Van Tonder made the following statement

“Given the social outcry for Chicken Licken to offer a delivery service, we are taking a step in the right direction of addressing our customers craving and in so doing, partnering with Uber Eats.”

Chicken lovers in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Midrand, Durban, Cape Town and Bloemfontein can now place an order at selected Chicken Licken outlets through the app, 7 days a week.

The following announcement that was made by Chicken Licken on Twitter:

I’m particularly estatic because even though there are not many branches in Pretoria, I have Chicken Licken branches in both the areas where I work and live in.

Chicken Licken is priced very competitively and they don’t use any transfat. No transfat = Better for your health. I’m looking forward to taking advantage of this.
