Chipego’s “All Yours” Lands on Spotify’s New Music Friday

Zambian-South African artist Chipego is making waves with her vibrant new single “All Yours,” which earned a well-deserved spot on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist last week.

Blending Afro-pop with genre-fluid influences, the track is more than just a love song—it’s a feel-good anthem about embracing the present moment.

“All Yours” is the first official release from One Groove’s upcoming collaborative album, created during the inaugural AmaGroove Residency. The residency brought together artists from across Africa and Europe and is a joint initiative by the Riky Rick Foundation, AUTOR, Nirox Foundation, Koda Kultur, and the Danish Foreign and Cultural Ministries.

A Playful and Soulful Message

Bright, soulful, and filled with intention, “All Yours” invites listeners to stop waiting for the “right time” and step into the now. It’s a sonic reminder that dreams can be lived today—not tomorrow.

“The song was originally called ‘Ready’ because at the end of the chorus, I sang in Bemba—my native language. I’m essentially saying, ‘We’re ready now.’

It’s a playful way of telling the people I love that we don’t have to wait until tomorrow for the perfect moment. We can realise our wildest dreams today, right now. Calling it ‘All Yours’ is just another way of saying the same thing, like a letter to a lover saying: ‘I’ll be all yours today,’” says Chipego.

A Global Production Powerhouse

The single is powered by an international team of acclaimed producers:

  • Pilfinger, Billboard #1 producer (Randy Jackson, Jordin Sparks)
  • Elias Njovu, Ugandan-Danish hitmaker (Neon Dreams)
  • uBeyond, South African producer (Sjava)

It was also co-written by Una Rams, known for working with Black Coffee and Idris Elba—making this release a true celebration of global collaboration and creative excellence.

Chipego: A Rising Star to Watch

Chipego is quickly becoming one of Southern Africa’s most compelling new voices. Her debut album Don’t Forget to Remember has already passed 100,000 streams and earned airplay on major South African radio stations.

With nearly 70,000 followers on TikTok and a growing international fanbase, she’s proving to be a rising star with something powerful to say.

One Groove’s Mission: Redefining the Music Industry

“All Yours” marks more than a personal milestone—it signals the beginning of One Groove’s bold nonprofit mission. The AmaGroove Residency and upcoming album aim to challenge traditional industry norms by prioritizing creative ownership, cross-cultural collaboration, and a more equitable music ecosystem.

The upcoming album, set to drop later in 2025, will bring together visionary talents from South Africa, Denmark, and beyond—including Una Rams, Amunda, Zanah African, Pilfinger, uBeyond, Elias Njovu, Zamani, OB Magik, Flame Fair, and others.

A Glimpse Into the Future of Global Music

With “All Yours,” Chipego and her collaborators are offering more than just a track—they’re redefining what’s possible when artists connect across borders with curiosity, mutual respect, and a shared joy for co-creation. This is music born in the spaces between worlds—and it’s just the beginning.

“All Yours” is available to stream/download on all major streaming platforms.
