Independent artist Cindy-Louise is back with her new single ‘Tattoo’. The South African-born & Netherlands-based Singer-Songwriter does not usually do cover-versions, but when she heard this majestic song by Loreen who represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, she instantly had a connection with the lyrics and style, and simply had to add her own energy in tribute!

“I heard the track about a month before Eurovision was set to broadcast, and I really felt a deep connection with this song from the amazing Loreen. The lyrics and instrumentation are what really drew me, and I especially love the hook of the song.”
“The instrumentation is amazing in the original, but I could already hear the Rock influence I wanted to bring in this song. I worked with the amazing Callum Melville / Calibeats on this cover, and he did an amazing job. He knew exactly what I wanted and meant from the start. I am so happy to work with such a talented producer who really sees my vision.”

Known for her unique writing style and characteristic voice, independent artist Cindy-Louise has been making waves in the global music industry since starting her career in 2019.
The South African-born singer-songwriter (now residing in The Netherlands) began singing and taking piano lessons at 16 and followed a strict Classical training program. In University her instruments where Classical-and-Jazz voice. She majored in Music Philosophy and attended the Mediterranean Opera Festival Program in Italy, studying and performing the roles of Despina (Cosi fan tutte) and Susanna (The Marriage of Figaro).
Her debut album Humanity was released in 2020 to critical acclaim. She likes to keep things fresh and flexible by regularly switches her musical styles, complementing her Pop songs with Rock. She states that “I’m trying to figure out who I am, and I try to speak and act my truth everyday”. In 2023 she will be focussing on Rock, saying “It’s going to be a wild ride!”
