More info about Dirt Naptime‘s debut EP
With their debut EP ‘Reserved’ Dirt Naptime deliver a collection of songs that reflect numerous and occasionally conflicting emotions with euphoria, infatuation, disillusion, and indifference all expressed in varying degrees.
Bubblegum hooks are often juxtaposed with somewhat downcast lyrics, played out in a soundscape that transitions from quiet to loud and lush to jagged. If these songs function equally well as the soundtrack to a road trip blaring from car speakers, as they do bedtime headphone jams then the band will feel like their work is done and they can rest in peace.
