Cape Town-born pop artist Eva Marie kicks off a fearless new chapter with the release of her latest single, “IT GIRL.” The track marks a defining moment in her artistic evolution, positioning her as a rising force in the next generation of global pop.
An award-winning vocalist with performance experience across both Cape Town and Los Angeles, Eva Marie combines technical skill with undeniable stage presence. With “IT GIRL,” she leans fully into her identity as a dynamic performer, merging striking visuals, confident storytelling and a sound built for impact.
A High-Energy Pop Statement
Sonically, “IT GIRL” delivers a bold, maximalist take on dance-pop. Driven by punchy basslines and rich, layered synths, the track creates an immersive, euphoric soundscape that feels both expansive and addictive.
Detailed production elements, from shimmering arpeggiated textures to playful touches like camera shutter effects and revving engine sounds, add character and elevate the track’s energy. The result is a release that feels unapologetically fun, confident and designed to be experienced as much as it is heard.
At its heart, “IT GIRL” is about self-assurance and stepping into your identity without hesitation.
“‘IT GIRL’ is all about stepping into your power and owning who you are without apology,” Eva Marie explains. “I wanted it to feel bold, playful and larger than life, like pure confidence in a song. It’s that moment when you walk into a room and just know you belong there. This is the start of a whole new era for me, and I’m excited for people to feel that energy and have fun with it.”
Vocally, Eva Marie showcases both control and versatility, shifting seamlessly between softer, more intimate moments and powerful, commanding sections. Layered harmonies and detailed vocal textures add depth, reinforcing her reputation as both a technically skilled and emotionally engaging performer.
While her earlier releases introduced her as a promising pop talent, “IT GIRL” signals a more defined and intentional creative direction. The track reflects a stronger sense of identity, combining performance, visual storytelling and sound into a cohesive artistic vision.

Internationally, she earned First Runner-Up for singing at the 2024 iPop Convention in Los Angeles, further highlighting her global potential.
On stage, she continues to expand her reach, including a main-stage performance at Up The Creek Festival 2026 alongside Pretty Loud. Her audience has also grown by over 10,000 followers across social platforms, reflecting her rising visibility and appeal.
What’s Next for Eva Marie?
