Multi talented singer, songwriter Jamie Fine has released a new single entitled “Bulletproof” via Universal Music Canada / Republic Records, the country’s leading music company.
Jamie Fine comments on “Bulletproof”
“I wrote ‘Bulletproof’ with two amazing writers, Tally and Sara Diamond, and my producer Bynon. We were in a studio session in LA and when we finished the song, I said that it was going to be the next song I released.”

Jamie posted a clip of the track for the first time on TikTok, just over 3 weeks ago, which now has 1.8 million views. Fans were excited for Jamie to release the song after hearing the first verse and chorus and begged for it to be released. Fans immediately engaged with Jamie’s posts, and related to the meaningful lyrics of the song.
Jamie Fine comments on the response to the song
“I was admittedly (too) eager to throw it out in the world and the response was incredible. People connected to this song the same way I did when we first wrote it.”
“The song is about giving yourself space to forgive your parents while also giving them space to forgive themselves. I hope it heals people in the same was it healed me. Family is a complicated topic for most of us and I hope this song gives people the grace to work through whatever they need to!”

Jamie’s music might be the only thing that’s as lively as her personality. A proud open book, the Ottawa-born singer, songwriter, and artist is smart, talented, hilarious, and most of all honest. She’s the kind of dynamic presence who inspires the rest of us to be a little bit louder, a tad more fearless, and just better all around.
Jamie Fine comments on her music
“My music isn’t linear because I’m not linear. I am extremely happy at times, and very sad at others. I feel the most in the extremes and I can be very unsatisfied and uninspired in the middle. I go through phases of wanting to stay at home with my dog and my girlfriend and other phases of wanting to go out every night.”
“My music is a direct extension of all of that. It’s sometimes happy and sometimes sad – sometimes fun and light and sometimes darker and more complex. But one thing that all of it is consistently, is unfiltered and transparent.”
Earlier this week, Jamie Fine announced two tour dates to kick off January 2024. For tickets and more information, visit her website here.

Jamie Fine’s music might be the only thing that’s as lively as her personality. A proud open book, the Ottawa-born singer, songwriter, and artist is smart, talented, hilarious, and most of all honest. She’s the kind of dynamic presence who inspires the rest of us to be a little bit louder, a tad more fearless, and just better all around. As a kid, Jamie gravitated towards music. It provided solace from bullying and moments when her family just didn’t understand.
In addition to listening to Black Eyed Peas, and Nickelback, she loved hip-hop, spinning old school J. Cole on repeat in between performing at multicultural shows in high school. She opted to attend culinary school instead of university and launched her own catering business upon graduating.
Following a creative awakening, she chose to quit the business and pursue music full-time in 2017. She reached platinum heights in the duo Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine, scoring a series of smashes in Canada. 2020 saw her step out solo and craft a signature style of her own. She has re-introduced herself on a series of singles and her debut EP for Universal Music Canada, Eight Gardengate.
