Liam Burger is not slowing down with the releases and unveils ‘The Middle’ as the next single from the forthcoming EP. This releases comes just 2 weeks after the release of his latest single ‘Falling Apart’ and announcing the release of his forthcoming EP Wide Awake.
Liam explains the theme of “The Middle”
“’The Middle’ is a song about people not wanting you to succeed in life. Sometimes in life, when someone achieves success in some way, you get people who try and discredit that achievement and tear them down. This is something I have personally experienced in life as well as others around me. In the song I talk about how these comments make me feel.”

The desperation and solemn feelings are skilfully delivered through Liam’s vocal talent, as his hauntingly beautiful voice pulls you in and makes you feel every lyric sung.
With the second single now released from the much-anticipated EP, Liam shares a taste of what to expect from the rest of the EP.
Liam Burger shares his thoughts on the EP
“’Wide Awake’ is a body of work written in the peak of lockdown: each song depicts a different emotion felt during this time. ‘Wide Awake’ is about reflecting on the past and issues I have tried to overcome, as well as what I want for my future.”
